Wonderful Birthday!!!

My 42nd birthday was wonderful. When I came in to work Heather had my desk all decorated. All the girls pitched in and bought me my favorite kind of cake from my favorite bakery and a card signed by all of them (Thank You Ladies). I am fortunate to work with a some really nice ladies and love them all! Look there's my Kylie. What a beautiful mess. I worked with all of this on my desk the whole day.
After work, I picked up Nicholas and went to Alesha's house to say hi and get my birthday present. She bought some really cute outfits. Thanks Alesha, I love you!

From there Nicholas and I went to Julie's parents house and Bethany, her cousin Maddison and my little Kylie came to celebrate my special day as well. Bethany gave me a pretty necklace.

Julie bought us dinner, and made us salsa and little tiny birthday cupcakes. Then we played some games. Thank you Jules for everything and the gift card!

Mom bought me lots of jewelry and gave me many other things over the last week or two. She rocks. Love you lots momma!

One of the best presents I received was a letter from my Jay wishing me a Happy Birthday and telling me he was okay and that he loved and missed me.

Thank you to all my friends and family for your birthday wishes.

One Last Goodbye! Until he comes home.

Monday morning I went to spend the day with Jay. I just couldn't get enough of my boy. He leaves my little boy and will come back a man. We went to MLT so he could say goodbye to my old bosses and friends and then we took him to the recruiting office where we said our last goodbyes. He and Bethany hugged each other and whispered and neither one of them wanted to let go. Then it was my turn. He hugged me tight, and told me he loved me. I hugged him back and told him how Proud I was of him and how much I loved him. We kissed each other and he went to say his goodbyes to his daughter. He was crying now. We said goodbye one last time and he grabbed his bag and started to walk away. He turned around to wave and told us to go. He was crying and didn't want us to see it. As we drove away, Bethany rolled down the window and yelled out to him; "I Love You Jay". I miss him so much already and can't wait until I hear from him.

Jay's Goodbye Dinner Sun June 14, 2009

On Sunday Jay, Bethany, Kylie and Nicholas spent the day with me and my parents. Dad made a Pork Roast and Mom made her awesome mashed potatoes and corn. We started with chips and Salsa (Jay loves my Salsa) and had a nice dinner and lots of time with the family. On the way taking them home we stopped at his dad's for him to say goodbye one more time and to drop off Nicholas (he is staying with his dad for the week). YaYa just loved her some Kylie and Kylie loved her back. Of course I had to get all my love in. We are going to miss my boy. I can't stop crying when I think about him being away from his family, especially his daughter.

Mustang American Giants

Nicholas' first season in Mustang division has come to an end. The Giants were a great team. These boys had a lot of spunk and big hearts. There season came to an abrupt end on Monday with a 12-15 loss to the Pirates. The kids won 20 out of 27 or so games and finished in 7th place in regular season out of 30 teams.
Nicholas had some awesome plays, including a diving catch with a summersault in right field and a double play at second base. This kid can play any position, if given the chance and is a hell of a second baseman. Unfortuantely, his Coaches didn't give him the chance to pitch this year, but there is always next year.
