She is getting closer to being here!!
Hey I forgot to mention, Kylie is almost here. Bethany is due in 6 days and she is already dilated 2cm. I am getting so excited. I didn't think I would be a Grandma for a long, long, long time, but here I am almost a Grandma.
Movie, Movie and Another Movie
On Saturday Nicholas and I met Julie at the movies to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D. Now I have several movies in 3D that I own with the silly glasses they come with. However, I have to say, "WOW"! If you are ever going to see a movie in 3D, see it at the theater with their glasses.
Back to the movie. Monsters vs. Aliens was a delighfully cute childrens cartoon and I thought it was great. I wasn't disappointed at all. After the movie, we decided that we weren't ready to go home yet. So, on to the next one.
We stayed to watch 17 Again. I went into this movie thinking it would be okay. Actually I thought it was going to be dumb and I came out totally surprised. I loved it. What a good movie. One I will definately buy to add to my collection. After the movie, we decided that we still weren't ready to go home yet. So, on to the next one.
Yes a third movie. This time we saw Hannah Montana, The Movie. I know, I know what you are thinking, Hannah Montana? Yes, I like the TV show so why not the movie. I liked it. I guess that's the inner child in me that refuses to grow up. LOL!!!
Did we stay for a fourth? Heck No. My butt hurt from sitting so long. Of course, we still weren't ready to go home. So, we did the next best thing. We went and got a bite to eat at Poquito Mas. What a GREAT day!!!

Easter
This was my first Easter in 17 years that I didn't get to make a basket, color eggs or even hide them for my children. I guess you can say, my little peeps are growing up. Nicholas went camping with my parents, my sister, her husband and my nephew for the Easter weekend and had a lot of fun. I did get to spend time with Jay and it really made my day. We went to lunch and then to Home Depot. I really miss spending time with him. I don't get to see or talk to him enough.
Nicholas got home later in the afternoon so, I was able to spend some of Easter with him. He was so happy to see me. Mom said he missed me and was a little sad at times. I made him dinner when we got home, he took a shower and then we played video games until bed time.
Not having both boys with me was very sad and I was lonely. They are growing up so fast. I wish I could keep Nicholas at 9 and shrink Jay back to 12. I want them with me always.

I Love You, Man!
On Saturday, I went to the movies with Jessica and saw I Love You, Man. It was great! We laughed a lot. After the movie we went and had lunch and talked a while. It was a nice day. I kind of forgot what it was like to have good friends to go out and have a fun with, without kids you know.
Nicholas was with his father all week, so I was on my own. There were a couple days I got lonely, but for the most part, I just enjoyed my temporary freedom (and called him a lot). I picked him up on Sunday evening, it was wonderful having him back home.

Jay is going to be a Daddy and has made a Great Career Choice!!!
For those of you that haven't heard, yes Jay is going to be a Daddy. Jay and Bethany are expecting their daughter on April 29, 2009. They are both very excited. Jay has also decided to join the Army. He has already passed the test, signed his contract and said his Oath. He has signed a four year contract, but would like to put in 20 years and retire from the Army. He will be leaving on June 16th for Boot Camp. I am VERY PROUD of him for choosing this path. He has goals for his life and knows that this is the way to reach them, as well as be able to support his fiance and daughter. Way to go Jay!!!
I will let everyone know when Kylie comes and let you know all about her. Take care!!!
I would love to be on my own again.
I guess you can say after being out on my own for 20 years, it has been a real stressful event to find myself and my son living back at home with my parents. Not being in our own home and living under someone else's roof is difficult. I know my parents love us, that is not the issue. They are used to their privacy and how they live and the same for my son and I. I must say that the best part is, I absolutely love being with my Mom. She is so caring and loves me unconditionally. That is a big plus and it helps me keep my sanity. I LOVE YOU MOMMA!!!
